Highway History:
The two current OK 15's were once connected. OK 15 ran along current U.S. 412 between Woodward and OK 74, where the current western OK 15 begins. When U.S. 412 was commissioned in the early 1990s, OK 15 was decommissioned between Woodward and OK 74.

Highway Review:
The eastern OK 15 begins at an interchange off U.S. 64/412 about halfway between Enid and Interstate 35. It begins by heading north with OK 74. OK 15 and OK 74 are duplexed for OK 15's first nine and a half miles. OK 15 was once much longer, before its routing between Woodward and U.S. 64/412 east of Enid was decommissioned in favor of U.S. 412. OK 15 intersetcts Interstate 35 at its Exit 203. A truck stop and Dairy Queen are also at this interchange. OK 15 shares five miles with U.S. 77 and four miles with U.S. 177, and 15 miles after leaving U.S. 177 behind, OK 15 ends at OK 18, about five miles north of Pawnee.
