Highway Review:
OK 271A connects Goodland to U.S. 271. Only one assurance shield has the highway as OK 271A; the rest of them all say U.S. 271A. Since the highway is signed as a state highway on the official state map, and the highway was known as OK 2A for many years, I am sure that this is a state highway so I will treat it as one here.

WESTERN TERMINUS
Goodland

The beginning of OK 271A East in Goodland. The western end is almost impossible to find. I took the road all the way to its western end four miles west of Goodland. Actually, the road west of the western end of OK 271A is a better quality road! There is no "END" sign or assurance shields at this terminus. (Photo taken 5/31/04)

EASTERN TERMINUS
